Thong Thai Traditional Thai Massage (KSL City Mall)

Visited on 20 February 2026 with a group of five for a massage session. Unfortunately, only one of us had a good experience. The other four were quite disappointed with the quality and technique. We informed the counter staff, and we were told that if the massage is not good, we can change therapist within the first 10 minutes. If it’s still not satisfactory, we can continue changing until we are satisfied. However, we were also told that they have plenty of bookings and therefore cannot meet service expectations. This response was quite concerning. Being busy should not be an excuse for inconsistent service quality. Customers come with certain expectations, especially when paying for a professional massage. Overall, the experience felt very hit-or-miss. You may get a good therapist, but it seems to depend on luck.

They have branches everywhere and even in KSL, there are at least 2 branches. Massage is pure luck as it depends on whether you get a good or lousy masseuse. The shop has both foot and body massage and for the women, don't worry, these are legit massage joints, with no special services from the "siambus" What i like is the variety of tidbits and the lobby to munch on, after you are done. So while your wives or girlfriends go shopping, guys, you can also go massage and kill some time.

Had the worst massage experience not so much of the skills but the lack of service. I was left hanging not knowing where to go after the service was over, maybe it was a communication issue as I switched from body massage back to foot massage after realising the oil was something I might be allergic to and the outlet was nice enough to refund the difference but the massage time was shortchanged and when I feedback about it, I was given a 10 mins ? Head and shoulder massage which wasn’t converted initially but the chinese speaking lady explained it is included and I can see the masseur reluctantly did the massage and just walked out after finishing without telling me anything, after waiting for a while I went out not knowing where to find my sandals and nobody was attending to me until I asked the front reception again.. I feel like a customer who is left hanging throughout the whole experience. Maybe it’s just my luck with a particular masseur.

Great experience! My masseuse ended off with back and neck cracking which was soooo satisfying! Do note that the strength of the massage is quite strong, so for those who are afraid of "hard" massages that are too painful, suggest you give this one a skip. Will definitely come back here again! 👍🏻

Had the aromatherapy massage for 90 mins. If you’re a couple, you can request to be in the same room. The ambiance is very cozy, the interior makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a resort in Thailand or Bali. They started with very hard pressure but I requested to adjust the pressure and the auntie did so. Overall it was good, they massaged every permissible part of the body. The bed was comfortable and the place clean. They serve good hot tea afterwards.

One of the best massages I've had in a very long time, better than the "top rated" ones I've had in Thailand itself. Did the 90min aromatherapy. When the masseuse used her elbows it was REALLY good. With her hands not as strong, and right hand stronger than left, but still not too bad. Generous amount of oil used, and she used a warm wet towel to wipe down my arms and legs at the end!! Really appreciated that. I hate having to go to dinner afterwards dripping in oil. We requested female masseuses and this was granted. On whatsapp they are quite responsive. Negatives - We arrived 5min early, started 10min late bc of the prep time. But they still ended 90min from the scheduled start time. My masseuse was rushing at the end. Felt a bit short changed. Also, it was pretty cold in the massage room.
