This is my first time getting a haircut at number 76 the gardens. I’m really satisfied and happy with the results!! Shoutout to my hairstylist, Yuri who delivered exactly what I asked for, if not, even better 🙂 She’s professional and amazing at what she does. Highly recommend and would 100% come back!
Update 7 Feb 2026: Still my one-and-only go-to salon! Peter my OG best stylist gave me a such a beautiful non-bleached peekaboo style for CNY! Thank you so much! Also shout out to Hari who gave me such a good hairwash, treatment, and blowout! Thank you! --- Absolutely worth the money spent here! ❤️ Peter has been my stylist since maybe 2020. I was first serviced by him when he was just an apprentice, and now he's a Director! So proud of how far he's come. He's always given me great service, and I always come back here. The other staff who help to wash and blow dry my hair are always very gentle and patient. I appreciate it a lot! They also offer a complimentary drink every time I'm here - yummy! They go out of their way to make their customers feel special. This branch has a great ambience, with plants lining the ceiling, high glass walls, and lovely wood furniture - which is a lot nicer to be in, compared to the more industrial-like look of most salons. So even just sitting here is great. Thanks for always having me, I'll be seeing you again! 😄
Got a haircut here and I love it! My hairstylist, Desmond, was amazing — he made sure I was comfortable with the length before cutting it shorter. The end result turned out exactly how I wanted, even though I was a bit clueless at first. Definitely recommend!✨️✨️✨️
One of the best salon experiences I've ever had! Terry (& the helper) did my hair colour perfectly. He also was very informative on the best way to care for my hair, including product recommendations for my specific concerns. While I’m doing my hair, my husband also did a digital perm with the other stylist. The curls came out as it requested, been done perfectly too just as his liking. Thank you xx with both steps out the salon with smiles.
I took my daughter to Grace for a haircut. She was very patient with children, and my daughter didn't cry or fuss during the process. Thank you Grace for the professional advice. I'm very satisfied with the result!
I had an appointment and arrived on time, but still had to wait. During my haircut, the stylist was attending to another client at the same time, which felt unprofessional. My hair was blow-dried by another staff member who roughly caught my earring, causing pain. The stylist also pulled my eyebrow piercing with a comb, resulting in redness, swelling, and bleeding. Although I know this was not intentional, the service lacked care. I only received brief apologies, and both my ear and eyebrow piercings were still inflamed two weeks later. Very disappointing experience.
I have gone to 76 a few times, getting my hair cut, fringe trimmed and hair coloured before. Previously, there was a standard. I first went for the junior stylist and they were careful with the details and giving exactly what I wanted. I went for the fringe cut (which the system for it is quite inconvenient as we can’t make any appointments for it and just have to be lucky to get it) the first time and the stylist was also very detailed and patient about it so I was still satisfied. However, recently I went for my fringe cut again where I waited for an hour because we can’t make bookings for those but I understood due to the system and the lack of stylists. I had no problem waiting. But once I came back, they told me I still had to wait a little longer which I was fine with but I was starting to feel a little frustrated with this system because it’s putting us customers at an inconvenience. You offer the system but the system is flawed. Your customers are willing to wait and the service (described below) is what we get instead. I did wait a little bit then I was told I could get it cut. The stylist I got is listed as the Branch Manager and as that role, I can say he did not fulfil it at all. He didn’t ask exactly what I wanted. When he first served me, it seemed like whatever I was asking for was an inconvenience to his schedule, looked and sounded very impatient. Before he even clarified what I wanted, he just went for a big snip at my bangs. Then only after, did he clarify with me about what I wanted. Now my fringe is crooked and I have no idea how to even style it properly but to clip it up and wait until it grows out on its own. Even when asking him to somehow style it, he seemed annoyed that I was asking for that service. To me, if the salon you’re working at provides this service, even if it’s free, especially as a Branch Manager, should know to uphold the standards as an example for your colleagues. As a stylist as well, you should know for hair, this is a sensitive thing for many people. A 5-10 min inconvenience for you would now define how one person looks at themselves for at least the next month. I am unsure how they can compensate for this as for a well-known salon, this was a rather disappointing experience.
