Had an amazing experience with Klein! He did my haircut and lazy perm, and I absolutely love the result. The curls look so natural, soft, and effortless — exactly what I wanted. Klein was very professional, patient, and really listened to what suited my face and hair condition. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a stylist who truly knows what he’s doing. Will definitely come back again 💇‍♀️✨

Good start. I’m from KL and because I have an event and I stayed at Ascott Gurney, I visited them. First they gave me a good aroma therapy massage followed by green tea, water & some snacks. May (the stylist) styled my bun. Mmm…was nice from the back but the front was rather loose. Overall a 3/5 I’d say. She trimmed my bangs but I’d say slightly amateur cuz after washing my hair I couldn’t style my bangs properly. Slightly too short and straight. Overall, friendly service. Many regular customers and well…I got what I needed. I paid RM75 for the hairdo so it was cheap comparing prices to KL. RM10 for the trimming.

Had a good experience at this salon. Great service and attitude. Special shoutout to Henry who understood my preference and also advised on what’s suitable for my hair type + face shape. He also managed to nail the hair colour that I wanted. A friendly stylist who takes pride and enjoy what he does. Also thanks for Kae (sorry, forgot her name) who helped with the hair-dyeing process. Her friendliness and warmth added onto the pleasant experience. Will come back.

It was my first visit to this salon, and I had such a great experience! The staff were very friendly and welcoming — I was even treated to a lovely welcome massage, which was a pleasant surprise. I initially came in just for a hair wash, but decided to get a haircut too, and I’m so glad I did. Kelly did a wonderful job reshaping my hair — she really understood what suited me. The hair wash and scalp massage were so relaxing, and I left feeling refreshed and pampered. Now I’m all ready for my long journey back to the US tomorrow. Highly recommend this place!

This was my second visit, and both experiences were truly excellent. I had frizzy, damaged hair from bleaching done elsewhere, and during my first visit, the team professionally recommended a keratin treatment (I had just walked in while staying next door at Gurney Hotel, hoping for a quick fix before a wedding dinner). The results were amazing. On my second trip to Penang today, I purposely returned for the same treatment, and once again, the outcome was superb. It was great meeting Kelly, who provided me with many professional hair care tips. The team creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere — no hard-selling of packages or products, just genuine recommendations based on individual needs. I will definitely come back again whenever I visit Penang. Highly recommended — 100%!
