Chanced upon this salon when I was searching on Google maps. I was initially hesitant as it did not have as many reviews as other salons in the vicinity, and I thought it catered more to the middle age group. I was pleasantly surprised by how skillful the lady boss was, she is very detailed and conscientious. Her assistant also provided very good head massage and hair wash. They are upfront about their costs. My mother saw my haircut and asked me to bring her the next day. She did cut + wash (RM 56) while I returned for a digital perm (RM220 - hair was up to armpit length). My mum also sang high praises of the service provided. Keep up the great service 🙂

While wandering through the heart of George Town, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a hair salon. What struck me first were their operating hours. It's a rarity to find a hair salon that opens as early as 10 am, and I was pleasantly surprised. Another pleasant surprise was the ample parking available right in front of the shop! Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful lady working at the salon. I opted for a hair wash, and the entire experience was truly relaxing. The lady had a skilled touch, providing a delightful head and neck massage in addition to washing my hair with utmost care. In summary, it was a wonderful experience, and I definitely plan to return.

had a really great first experience here. they did an incredible job, everything from the wash (so meticulous and great head + neck massage) to the blowout and styling. came out exactly how i envisioned. great prices too. would return again and again!

Came here for a wash + blow + curl. It was only RM38 for my long hair. And my hairdresser was so nice! Would recommend for sure!

Excellent place. I had a colour and cut at another location yesterday. It was a disaster so I googled for another hair dresser today to salvage some of the damage. Found Doris Lovell Hair Salon. They did a good job. Love my new cut. The massage that went with the washing was fantastic. Would definitely come again..
