Review of Bali Thai Spa & Wellness (Taman Pelangi) We’ve tried quite a number of massage spas in this area, and most of them offer very similar packages. Despite that, we often find ourselves returning to Bali Thai Spa & Wellness mainly because it’s one of the few places that stays open very late — a big plus for night owls or those ending the day late. Unfortunately, the massage experience itself was disappointing. The masseurs’ skills didn’t quite meet expectations, as the massage lacked consistency and flow. At times, it felt like the pressure and techniques weren’t sustained properly. There was also an impression that the therapists assumed customers might not be familiar with proper Thai massage standards, resulting in a rather half-hearted execution. Stepping into Bali Thai Wellness & Family Spa felt like entering a whole new world of relaxation! I arrived a little early at 10:45 AM (they open at 11 AM), but a kind Indian gentleman welcomed me in, checked my appointment, and led me to the waiting area while the receptionists were on their way. From the moment I walked in, the ambience was breathtaking—beautifully decorated with perfect air conditioning, making it the ideal escape from the heat outside. My masseuse, Min (#2), soon arrived, greeted me with a warm smile, and started with a soothing foot wash before leading me to my treatment room. I went for the 2-hour aromatherapy massage, and wow—what an experience! Min was incredibly skilled, working through all my knots with precision while making sure I was completely at ease. She had such a warm presence that the two hours flew by in what felt like minutes! The facilities here are top-notch too—their toilets come with full-size bathrooms, heaters, and bidets, adding a touch of luxury. Plus, they accept both cash and card payments, making everything super convenient. This place is now my go-to spa, and I can’t wait to bring my family and friends along. If you're looking for a spa that delivers on ambience, service, and pure relaxation, Bali Thai Wellness & Family Spa is the place to be!

Multiple poor experiences at this outlet despite giving it several chances. During our first visit, the masseuse applied insufficient pressure and the massage lacked consistency. When feedback was given and more pressure was requested, we were instead questioned on why we did not choose a full-body massage instead of the 3-in-1 package booked. Due to the poor service and dismissive response, we left the session midway. On another occasion, the front desk service was equally disappointing. One receptionist (short hair) displayed a noticeably poor attitude, while the other appeared inadequately trained. We had booked a session from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am, but upon arrival at 11:00 pm, we were told the booking was recorded as 10:00 pm to 12:00 am. Despite calling earlier to confirm, we were not informed that there would be no available masseuses. Although the ambience looks professional and promising, the service quality falls well below acceptable standards. Masseuses were observed dozing off during sessions and skipping steps to end sessions earlier than promised. Do not be misled by appearances. I do not recommend this outlet.

Did a walk in without reservation for 2 pax on a weekend night and they were able to host us. Really nice and modern ambience and everything feels refreshing and clean.. almost felt like we stepped into a hotel lobby. We did foot and shoulder massage and it was relatively good but felt that the massage area was abit open and when the reception got crowded, the massage area unfortunately got the same disruptive noise. Aside from that, great location and parking lots right outside as well.

I booked a massage session here and was very satisfied. The therapist applied the right amount of pressure. The spa was quiet and relaxing throughout the session. The room was clean and comfortable. I felt much better afterwards.

Very disappointing 90-minute massage experience. The ginger oil had no effect at all — no ginger smell, no warmth, just a plain oil with no benefits. The massage technique was poor, basically just spreading oil and pushing hands and legs without any skill or pressure control. Hygiene was also unacceptable. There were no disposable items such as disposable underwear or wipes. After the session, I was asked to clean the oil off using the same cloth that was used to apply the oil, which is not hygienic. The therapist also left the room frequently during the session, making the treatment feel interrupted and unprofessional. Communication was very difficult as well. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this place.
