Dr. Yap Lok Huei

Dr. Yap is an exceptional and truly humble doctor! He performed corrective surgery for my daughter, who was born with a genetic split earlobe. We searched for a long time before finally finding the right doctor, and we are so grateful it was him. Throughout the entire process, he was transparent, patient, and highly professional, which gave us great comfort and confidence. Remarkably, even my 8-year-old daughter felt no fear at all; instead, she described the experience as a sweet and memorable one. We sincerely appreciate Dr. Yap’s dedication, compassion, and outstanding care.

This was not a solicited review but I felt motivated to write this. Dr Yap did a face and neck lift for me in Jan 2026 at Prince Court Medical Centre. He is extremely meticulous, takes extra time and effort to minimise any damage and intrusive impact. Dr Yap is probably one of the top surgeons in the world when it comes to surgical skills and dedication to the patient. Overall also a genuine and kind person - worth it to make his acquaintance. Very pleased with the overall experience.

I had a growing cyst on my lower eye lid and was reffered to ​Dr. Yap. He is one of the few doctors I've encountered who communicates exceptionally well with his patients. Dr.Yap is a highly professional and ethical doctor, yet he's as approachable as a friend—warm and kind. His extensive experience allows for precise and skillful surgical work. I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor; he has completely changed my perception of plastic surgery, thank you, Dr.Yap!

My mom in law injured her lips badly after a fall and we decided to go Prince Court's A&E where she was referred to Dr Yap. We also did research about him and other doctors in Prince Court beforehand and the comments about Dr Yap were true to the dot. He constantly reassured my MIL and kept her calm during the process . The reconstruction of the lips was great and didn't leave scarring too. All in all, he's a friendly and patient doctor with great skills too.

Dr Yap has supported me when I had to have a sizable growth above my eyebrow excised. No one wants surgery near their eye but he walked me through the procedure many times and explained what it would be like during the procedure and the stages of recovery. It's very rare for me to leave a review for professional services but after the second time when I had need of Dr. Yap's expertise, I feel that I should share this review for the benefit of anyone else who may be seeking the services of a plastic surgeon. The first time I visited Dr, Yap was 2 years ago, on the recommendatin of a dermatologist as my mother required the removal of 2 moles which had looked a bit suspicious. Obviously, this caused us some concern but from the first consultattion, Dr Yap and his team put her at ease with their professionalism and care. All of them took the time to explain to her each step they were taking and the surgical options available to her. I was allowed to witness the surgical procedure and Dr. Yap took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I appreciated this as there was no sense of rush or impatience whenever I or my mother asked questions. Most importantly, the procedure went smoothly with great follow up care and the result was 2 small scars which have healed remarkably well. I have had no hesitation in seeking out Dr. Yap's services again this week, especially when I received the same standard of treatment as that given to me, and would unhesitatingly recommend him to others.
