The place itself looks good and is quite comfy. I came here because I had shoulder pain and a very bad headache, so I was specifically looking for a shoulder and head massage. I clearly told the receptionist a few times that I only wanted shoulder and head massage. She offered a RM100 partial massage for 1 hour 30 minutes, explained as 45 minutes for shoulder and 45 minutes for head, and said she would inform the masseuse. I was assigned a male masseuse. Before the session started, I repeated again that I only wanted shoulder and head massage. Unfortunately, I don’t think he understood English well. He started massaging my lower back. At first, I thought it was just part of the procedure before moving to the shoulders, but it continued for about 40 minutes. The massage had no variation — he just kept pressing a few spots repeatedly using his elbow. It was not relaxing at all and actually stressed me out, especially since I didn’t even want a back massage, and the quality was poor. With only around 40+ minutes left, I asked him to move on to the head massage. The head massage was even worse. He kept pulling and pinching my hair non-stop, with no technique or variation. It felt like he was just scratching my scalp randomly. There was no balance — i think he is lefthanded. He focused on the left side for several minutes, then the right side for only a few seconds, then back to the left again. He didn’t massage the front, lower head, or eyebrow area at all, and no oil was used. I ask for him to increase the pressure, stronger, but only last for few seconds and then back to scratching my scalp. Literally scratching the scalp for 30minutes, no variation, does not even find the spot area which usual cause headache. To make things worse, his hands smelled like food. I left feeling very disappointed. Instead of relieving my headache, it became worse. I asked to end the session early, informed the receptionist about my experience, and left. I will not be coming back. Honestly, I could ask my niece to massage me and get the same result. Definitely not worth the RM100. I’ve had much better, more spot on, and cheaper massages at mymall.
